General Guidelines

Because the Norris Foundation provides continuing support for many organizations, few new programs are added to the budget each year.

• Available funding resources allow approval of only a limited number of requests. A declination should not be considered a reflection upon the merits of the proposal or the related organization.


• Letters of Inquiry or Intent are not required and will not be accepted in place of a proposal.


• Qualifying organizations may submit a request once a year and receive no more than one grant per year.


• Proposals are due by the category's closing date.


• Applicant will receive an answer within five months of window closing date.


• A Post-Grant Information Report will be required.
